This weekend we had the privilege of planning our first baby shower picnic. It was for 30 people which is the biggest picnic we’ve had since our wedding! We grabbed the challenge with both hands and starting planning this picnic weeks in advance which made the logistics on the day go as smooth as hot butter! Of course we could never have done it so easily if it weren’t for our dear husbands helping us with all the heavy loading! Mom started prepping all the food the week before the picnic, which i don’t think a lot of the guests realised: all our food is homemade! From scratch, made with lots of love. We don’t pre order any snack platters. All homemade. Also, we had to make 30 new cushion covers to suit the theme, which was pink, yellow and white. We were excited about this however as we are always working on our catalogue and expanding our equipment. The rain however decided not to stay away and we had about a 10min light drizzle – you know, just enough to make everything wet. It crushed my spirit a bit because we just want everything to be perfect. We did manage to save and protect most of the set up.
Truth be told, we were super excited for this day to arrive and the end product was totally worth all the sweat and hard work:

HUGE THANKS TO MY BEAUTIFUL MOM FOR HER AMAZING HARD WORK
